Huzzah! Thank you! What a wonderful surprise! Jon Reads Supergirl! I had no idea you were going to do a Supergirl podcast until this dropped into my podcast feed, since Jon Reads Comics is still there. This Silver (and later, Bronze) Age version of Supergirl, who was Superman’s cousin from the Kryptonian Argo City, has been one of my favorite characters since I first read this very origin story. I don’t know how long you plan to continue with this, but, knowing your “completionist” tendencies, I hope to hear you talk about her adventures for a long time. Thank you for bringing her back!
Reading comics aloud is a private pleasure of mine. Since my kids are grown, I can only read to a microphone now lol. Mindi’s friend loves Supergirl and wanted to know more about her early adventures, so here we are! There may be some non-Super reads in the future as well. I have one or two books in mind.
