I love this story (One of several, if I recall correctly), in which Linda Lee has to prevent people from adopting her, in order not to jeapordize her identity as Supergirl. Bonus, in this case, for punishing the crooks who are the potential adoptive parents. You’d think they’d have “tested” Linda somehow, to see if she could be trusted to help with their “con”. Maybe she was one of those “good kids” who might blow the whistle on them. I guess most DC criminals are not just “a cowardly and superstitious lot”, but none too bright, as well.
In any case, Linda must wait to meet parents who are worthy to adopt her.
Keep ’em coming, Jon!
