I’ve enjoyed these first two episodes of “The Spider-Diaries” immensely, as I expected I would, because of your excellent knowledge of the comics as well as the high quality of your work in “The Chronological Dracula”. I have a small quibble, and I realize it may not be something you can easily help. In “The Chronological Dracula”, I thought your voice acting was wonderful, giving each character a distince (and, I thought, appropriate) style and accent. In these first couple of episodes, it’s a little harder for me to imagine your Peter Parker as a New Yorkier, especially when he says “y’all”. Again, that’s probably your own natural speech pattern, so probably not easy to change, but I don’t know many New Yorkers who say that. Feel free to ignore my comment, though, if you like.
You’re not the first person to mention the “y’all”. I don’t really know what to say about that since it’s me doing the part, and it’s not consciously chosen speech. But I’m glad you enjoyed.
I’ll probably get used to it, and not notice it so much, as I listen over time, so don’t fret about it.
