10 Supergirl — The Super-Outlaw from Krypton

Another fun episode. As a kid, I always loved the multipart, book-length stories. Granted, this one was Superman-centered, since it was a Superman comic, but Supergirl wasn’t totally a background character. I assumed, when Supergirl mentioned that Superman had revealed the location of his Fortress to her, that he described what was in it, at least to some extent, so she must have known about Kandor. She may even have visited the Fortress at some point before this particular story. Anyway, for the average 8-year old (which I believe was the target audience), not everything needs to be explained in detail. Kids like to use their imaginations. If nothing else, this story gave us the Exchange Ray, which would come to be used more frequently later on, as a way of getting people in and out of the Bottle City of Kandor.
